Marine Ecology at SIO
The Leichter Lab (PI: Dr. Jim Leichter) at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography is a marine ecology laboratory primarily focused on nearshore benthic ecology. We are interested in how the ocean's physical environment influences the composition and diversity of marine organisms. Also, sometimes there are daring escapes from burning boats.
No PIs were hurt in the spontaneous combustion of this research vessel.
